Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Houston von Tuxford is a stunning looking long haired German Shepherd. Our big charming guy looks as if he has had excellent care, and he is just over a year old. He was previously micro-chipped and when he was lost the shelter contacted his owners who didn't want him for whatever reason. He is a sable which, combined with the long coat, is very sought after. Houston is also well trained; even when he was so excited to get out of a cage he still listened to the commands to sit and go down. He just hit the ground which was very impressive, most dogs when they are so excited they forget everything. Houston is good with other dogs and shared his cage with another new boy, Cody. They were picked on by another dog at the shelter but didn't fight back. Houston is a lover! He is just amazing! We are asking for a donation of $500 to not only cover his expenses, but also to help with the rising medical expenses of some of our more needy rescues.
